This project is funded by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and jointly developed by the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), Tourism Productivity Nexus (TPN), Digital Technology Association of Malaysia (DiTTAM), Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), and MIMOS Berhad.

It helps travellers learn and practice sustainable tourism through the Sayangi Malaysia Sustainable Tourism Framework. The project also features a simplified personal carbon calculator that allows travellers to measure their direct carbon emissions while travelling. By understanding your impact, you can choose destinations that embrace sustainable tourism and support places that protect culture, nature, and local communities.
